The "pilot" work on 0.03 mg. / L., Phosphorus achievability on a consistent basis, was done in Stamford, NY, back in 1997. In fact, 0.014 mg. / L.-readings were consistently achieved, in this pilot study. That is 2X better than the Jock River-"Policy 2" discharge requirement, for a treatment plant at Munster.
The CMS / Seprotech wastewater treatment system, is neither a "test" nor a "pilot". It is a fully-operational design that has already received a MOE Certificate of Approval for full operation in Manotick. These systems are scalable in size, to fit any community's needs ...whether it be for the Manotick project, for Munster, or for a much larger community.
To call this treatment system a "pilot", is to display a preference for selective professional ignorance, that appears solely intended to defame.
