Councillor Stavinga ---as vice-chair of the RideauValley Conservation Authority (RVCA)--- has been progressively more in a conflict of interest situation, as the Munster pipeline "FIX" has  unfolded. Several committed environmentalists have been increasingly uneasy about her conflicting roles. One environmental organization has finally asked for Ms. Stavinga's resignation from the RVCA.
