Ratepayers deserve better from their Councillor!

Who's kidding Whom?

The article (see right), appearing in the March 18th issue of The Stittsville News, goes to great lengths to mask the fact that the REAL purpose for all the street and sidewalk work, is for the  Munster's sewage pipeline.

The additional street work (on Maitland), under the Safe Routes to School initiative ...is merely a decoy.

The blunt reality is ---as it appears--- City staff and your ward councillor have been pushing ahead with the pipeline route work, in contempt of due process, and of the OMB Order: (that it not continue with other Munster-pipeline related work until the provisions of the Board Order have been fulfilled).

The City has the obligation and duty to be more forthright with its citizens!

If our elected representatives cannot, publicly, be accountable to us for their actions ...then they are not working in the public interest.
