Elected representatives who abandon their responsibility to the public ...such as in this case: in the selection of a wastewater treatment system with such glaringly unaddressed public health concerns ---without using their own reasoning, to weigh the evidence--- are not doing their due diligence, and are not representing the public interest.

They are merely serving their own "employment" pursuits.
