The 2 year wellhead capture area for the Munster wells is centered right over the lagoons. The balance is totally in the local Jock River watershed. See the new official plan Schedule K.

The pipeline proponents should also get together with the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority (RVCA), and get their respective stories synchronized. The Jock River Watershed Plan Interim Report (Vol1, September 1996), published by the (RVCA), states the following:

"In general, groundwater quantities are sufficient for both small and large demand requirements although a cone of depression has been noted in Richmond and Munster."
