Earlier it was the "City would best be served" and now its "only Munster residents," (exclusive of their rural members). The residents of Richmond should be outraged at this self-centered attitude. Certainly it has been demonstrated that the city has no time for the residents of Richmond. Now it is clear the MCA has joined with the City in this view. Does the MCA Executive feel more obligated to the City, than to Munster residents ...because of grant monies it receives from the City? Members of the Community Association should receive a full public accounting.
The sounds and actions coming from the MCA executive, seem to be significantly out of step with the majority wishes of Munster Residents, (expressed in the April 2002 Survey). Munster residents have a right to expect the MCA executive to express their wider "community perspective", or be replaced.
