This statement is a total misrepresentation. The Chair of the OMB Hearing Mr. N. M. Katary, stated that the subject flyer would have no effect on the proceedings, in fact he welcomed the opportunity to hear the viewpoints of a few Richmond residents.

Furthermore, there was nothing preventing Munster and area residents from attending. There were only five Munster area submissions (out of nineteen in total). Of the five, three were in support of onsite treatment and only two of the presenters were in support of the pipeline.

In cross-examination, the two pipeline supporters were asked if their support for the pipeline would change if they found out that continuous lagoon use was an integral part of the pipeline system.

This is a gross 'misunderstanding' or 'misrepresentation' of the City's REAL, intended (full-time) use of the lagoons, i.e.: for permanent solids-retention.

The pipeline option ---with its associated lagoon(s)--- conflicts with the majority sentiment of Munster residents: the 83%, who want the environmental benefits of local treatment, and the elimination of the lagoons as sewage works ...by decommissioning them, and turning them into a wetlands/conservation area.
