                       Documents show that Richmond residents' pleas were ignored as the result
                   of a city-driven agenda which had all the elements of bad-faith dealings,
                   misrepresentations, breaches of the public trust and public endangerment.

                   city, it will cause public endangerment and severe anxiety with its proposed

             .5   Inane responses from Ottawa's Chief Medical Health Office
                   Precautionary Principle ignored. In this case, the Hippocratic Oath's
                   precept of "do no harm" appears to have been usurped by political
                   cowardice. (No protective action taken by Dr. Robert Cushman.)

             .6   Richmond residents' futile appeals to have a safe on-site solution,
                   instead of the ill-conceived forcemain scheme. (Sampling of letters.)

                       Due to Janet Stavinga and Conestoga-Rovers & Associates (CRA):
                       1,100 Richmond families are now forced into the insanely vulnerable
                       predicament of having to draw their drinking water from the unprotected
                       shallow aquifer that surrounds a newly-installed, raw sewage, high-
                       pressure pipeline.

                   Where is the "water source protection" in that?

              .8 The next headline on this sordid case has yet to be written either as:
                  a.) "The city removes needless health risk to Richmond residents",
                                                                 OR,
                  b.) "Sewage leak claims lives in Richmond because City too slow to act
                             to correct obvious health risk."
